CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

This is the ultimate booty-lifting, thigh-toning, and core-intensive experience.

This is an intense, non-impact workout designed to strengthen and stretch your body, help you gain a new awareness and appreciation for yourself and your body’s abilities, and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. 

This is a unique fitness class that is designed to enhance your body awareness; challenge and condition your core; improve your muscular control and posture, and will focus on breath control and its influence on core integration and endurance.  

 

Guided Restorative Relaxation (Open to the Public through April Visit Schedule for Days and Time)

Space is VERY Limited. Please Arrive Early!

This is the most delicious and indulgent class on the schedule.

Many of us are beginning to feel the stress brought on by juggling work, family life, and the tension that comes from dealing with tough economic times. It is essential to have as many tools/skills to help us better deal with the challenges of daily life and will enable you to have more control over your responses to physical/emotional stresses. 

You will enjoy the exploration of several breathing styles/techniques that will help you enjoy the calm that comes from "taking things slow". 

You will gently ease yourself into supported restorative poses, where you will have the time to explore your breath, relax into nurturing postures and maybe even fall asleep.

This is nurturing that our minds and bodies crave.  Once you try it, you’ll want more.

Please let your instructor know of any aches or injuries you may have BEFORE class begins.  Bring comfy clothes, some cozy socks, and be ready to feel wonderful…you deserve it!

 

Controlled Burn

In order to keep your body in amazing shape, it is essential to maintain adequate lean muscle.  Resistance/Weight training is one of the most effective ways to do that. Cardio is another important tool that helps keep our bodies lean and agile.

This is an energizing, non-impact, body-firming workout combining cardio with light to medium weights, resistance tubing, and your own body weight to help challenge, condition, and tone your body without any impact. 

This class is a great class to get your arms, abs, and boo-tays in great shape.  

 

Band Camp

Also Available as a Private Session or Booked as a Workshop (Personal Training Single Session Rates Apply). .

Resistance bands and tubing will be the instruments you will be using to tone your entire body.

All exercises, including upper and lower body, will also intensely challenge your core.

Some of the benefits of using resistance bands and tubing include addressing stabilizing muscles that can often be ignored while using machines and free weights, maximum muscle fiber recruitment, and an unlimited variety of exercises so you will not get bored.

 

Controlled Burn-Gentle Conditioning

This class is the gentle/slower paced version of Controlled Burn.  Modifications are made in this class to make working-out accessible to almost everyone.  This is a great way for people who are trying to introduce or re-introduce a fitness routine into their lifestyle.  

 

Stretch

The class begins with gentle and considerate exercises that are ideal for preparing one’s mind and body to embrace the day. The exercises are designed to allow you to connect yourself with your mind, breath, and body.

 

Flexibility and Core-Conditioning

This class will guide you through performance enhancing techniques, used by some of the world’s greatest athletes, dancers, and fitness enthusiasts.  This class will challenge/integrate your core, relax and restore your body, and give you plenty of tools to help enhance all your workouts.

Effective Core-Conditioning is about: finesse, taking your time to slowly address full range of motion where it is possible, integration of breath/body/intention, understanding, welcoming, and addressing your physical limitations, and enjoying the journey.

This class is all about “attention to detail”…this can be intense, challenging, even humbling.

"Pedal Precision" Indoor Cycling 

This is not your typical Spin class.  This class is intense, all about finesse, and sometimes humbling.

This class incorporates Core-Conditioning, Breath Control, Body Awareness, and Endurance.

Come with an open mind, be prepared to try some new things, and feel free to ask any questions on how to intensify or modify your workouts to fit your needs.

Everyone, from the first time fitness participant and the weekend warrior, to the professional dancer and athlete can benefit from enjoying a Personal Training session and progressing to a Group Fitness Class.
